Job Summary :
-The Policy Analyst provides research and analysis support to the Policy and Advocacy team to ensure that the company is proactively and strategically engaging in public policy debates and developments that pose either a risk of opportunity for the business to meet its objectives.The post-holder will develop and implement a public policy tracking system to enable the Company to monitor and assess legislative and other policy activity at a national, multi-national and international level. The role aims to advance the team as a strong, credible, and timely voice on key policy issues and research questions, in line with the Company’s Policy & Advocacy strategy.

Main Duties And Responsibilities :
-Tracks, analyses, and reports on policy and legislative activity; works collaboratively with other teams; and reports to the Vice President of Policy and Advocacy.
-Prepare communications materials including talking points, presentations, reports and briefing papers in support of Company’s policy & advocacy needs, facilitating their distribution using tools including email marketing software, for example.
-Establish, implement and maintain an issues monitoring system to track developments on key issues relevant to the Company.
-Research and recommend event speakers
-Manage communication with event speakers (prep calls, collection of materials, etc.)
-Collect and/or develop new member information resources
-Help draft thought-leadership articles and other collateral material
-Help develop surveys and conduct research
-Support the delivery of projects as assigned by the Vice President of Policy and Advocacy.
-With the support of the Vice President of Policy & Advocacy, the analyst will help craft external messages, expressed through press releases, petitions, social media, and other communications products.
-Arrange meetings with key stakeholders including logistics and ensuring minutes of meetings are recorded and circulated as guided by senior team members and management.
-Co-ordinate the publication of key outreach documents such as issues briefings and monthly updates using email marketing software.
-Prepare, on request/as needed, issues briefings in advance of key meetings both internal and external.
-Arrange meetings with key stakeholders including logistics and ensuring minutes of meetings are recorded and circulated as guided by senior team members and management.
-Prepare descriptive statistics for policy in draft form. Assist with preparing reports, memos, presentations, and research manuscripts. Deliver technical assistance and present findings.
-Draft interpretations of study specifications, research findings, and quantitative analyses for relevant audiences. Conducting literature searches and other independent research and draft summaries of findings.
-Identifying, developing, and implementing best practices for conducting research and interpreting findings.

Job Requirements:
Education:
-Bachelor Degree in Business, Political Science, International Relations, Communications/Public Relations, Sustainability or a related subject

Experience:
-3-5 years of working experience in related area such as analyst at think thank organization, Communications, Public Relations, Public Policy, Auditing or Sustainability.

Competencies:
-Effective written and verbal communications skills in English; Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
-Demonstrated research and report writing skills
-Strong negotiation, problem solving & analytical skills
-Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
-PC skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word Powerpoint)
-Able to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively
-Able to exhibit sound judgment and professionalism in all aspects of the position
-Understanding of sustainability issues
-Consistently guided by company values in interactions with all stakeholders
-Demonstrable understanding of the GRI reporting framework and data standards
-Demonstrable database management experience and the ability to efficiently collate, aggregate and analyse datasets
-Excellent attention to detail, project and time management skills
