Job Summary
-Provides technical pre-sales support to reseller and end customer and generate quotation for the proposed solution and assist sales and operation departments with the objective of meeting Business Unit budgeted revenue and contribution to the company.
The Role is to:
-Provides pre-sales support, together with Pre-sales Manager, Sales Manager and/or Business Development Manager, to achieve target as assigned.
-Provide technical support including network design, proposal and presentation.
-Prepare sales quotation with relevant discount applied in a clear and comprehensive format to customer.
-Communicate with principals on clarifications pertaining to customer’s queries.
-Present and demonstrate products/solutions to prospective customers and resellers.
-Attend sites meeting to understand customer requirement in order to propose appropriate solution to meet customer needs, when required.
-Maintain and expand the customer base and maximize the market coverage.
-Project a high level of professionalism and maintain quality services to our valued customers.
-Acquire sound product knowledge and market information on competitive positioning.
-Be conscious of customers’ needs, market trends and new products from supported vendors and competitors.
-Assist the Company to evaluate the applications and features of new products and assess their market potential, when required.
-Conduct Pre-Sales training for internal team, business partners and end-users.
-Perform any other duties/project as assigned.
The Person must:
-Possess a tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology
-Have least 3 year experience working within IT Industry
-Have technical certification within IT related products.
-Able to handle project design and management independently
-Have effective communication skills both orally and written
-Possess good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
-Be meticulous, attention to detail and follow-up
-Work well within a team environment
-Be self-motivated, willing to learn, result-oriented, independent with good attitude
-Possess go-getter attitude and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic industry
