System Engineer (Kode : JBT – System Engineer)
The Role:
Linux Engineer with strong experience of Linux operating systems (specifically Red Hat Based Linux), any mail system, and any virtualization system
Requirements & Key Responsibilities:
-Min 3+ years installing, building, and configuring Linux based systems and any mail system.
-Min Diploma/Bachelor Degree (S1) Have GPA minimum 2.75 out of 4.00
-RHCE or any Linux Certification will be an advantage
-Experience in Zimbra mail system will be an advantage
-Experience in VMWare vSphere platform, RHEV platform will be an advantage
-Experience in any antispam system will be an advantage
-Work with within the IT team to keep current systems operational
-Must be able to cover a wide spectrum from hands on configuration of RedHat/ Centos, Debian/Ubuntu, OpenSUSE/SLES Linux systems and/or BSD based system:
-Ability to setup and manage common network services
-Strong scripting expertise including BASH, PHP, PERL
-Troubleshooting Unix-based hardware/software issue
-Installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing of Unix based operating systems, related utilities and hardware.
-Develops procedures for routine administration
-Monitors systems activities and fine tunes system parameters and configuration
-Strong aptitude for problem solving
-Possess strong analytical, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills to professionally communicate issues and suggestions to management and customers
-Understanding of TCP/ IP networking, load balancers, firewalls and switches a plus
-The ability to produce quality documentation
– Fast learning, Independent, Good oral and written communication in english
